Bert Levey, 69, of 156 Fellows Ave., died Mon. in the Bath Veterans Hospital after an illness of several months. A life resident of Syracuse, he was a retired real estate broker. A graduate of Travis Preparatory School, he attended Syracuse University and saw active service with the U.S. Army in France during WWI, NY Pvt. Btry D 307 Field Art. He was a member of the American Legion Post 41 and Onondaga Post 131, Jewish War Veterans. Surviving are two sons, Norman Sellinger of Dayton, OH, and Howard S. Sellinger of Lima, OH; a daughter, Mrs. Max Pepper of Syracuse; six grandchildren; two brothers, Louis Levey of Syracuse, and Maurice Levey of Cortland; two sisters, Mrs. Lillian Glazer of Syracuse, and Mrs. Minnie Posner of Los Angeles, CA. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. today in the Birnbaum Funeral Parlors, 121 Lexington Ave. by Rabbi Benjamin Friedman. Interment will be in Tzedak Ve-Emeth Cemetery. Military Services will be conducted by Onondaga Post 131, Jewish War Veterans.
