Services for Charles Newfield of 529 Lennox Avenue, Oneida, who died yesterday after suffering a heart attack at his home, will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. tomorrow in the Birnbaum Funeral Home. Dr. Benjamin Friedman, Rabbi of Temple Society of Concord, will officiate. Burial will be in Tzedek Ve Emeth, Syracuse. Formerly of Syracuse, Mr. Newfield lived in Oneida for 55 years. He was employed as caretaker of the Oneida Community Mansion House in Kenwood, Retiring five years ago. Surviving are two sons, Victor J. Newfield of Washing and Harold W. Newfield of Birmingham, Alabama; two daughters, Mrs. Wolfe Markham and Miss Anna Newfield, both of Syracuse; seven brothers, Frederick of Watkins Glen, Joseph of Portland, Conn., Edward of Oakland, Calif., Sigmund of Tucson, AZ, Roy of Beloit, WI, Albert and Hugo Newfield of Chicago, IL, a sister Mrs. Samuel Steimer of Chicago; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
